1980
Super East Marketing had its humble beginnings in Manila and carried two flagship products - CANON Cameras and Japanese-Branded Wristwatches.

The first CANON Camera Service Center was also established in Binondo, Manila.

1985
Japanese Branded Musical Instruments were added to its product line-up.

1988
"CANON Cameras" became a by-word in the Philippine camera industry and started to gain a bigger market share.

1992
To further increase the visibility of Canon Cameras, Super East Marketing launched its Canon Week Roadshow, an annual event showcasing the latest cameras, photo exhibit and studio set-up where customers are assisted and coached by professional photographers when they buy any Canon Camera. Aside from this, a Technical Camera Clinic offers advice and minor services to Canon users. Another marketing activity is the photo seminars for kids, beginners and advanced users.

1997
Received Regional Top Distributor Award for excellent performance in achieving highest growth in sales value for 1997/1996.

Received Excellent Performance award for achieving 3rd Best Turn Around Days in 1997.

Received Regional Top Achievement Award for achieving highest growth in lens shutter cameras for 1997/1996.

1998
Super East Marketing spinned-off from its mother company to become SUPER EAST ASIA ENTERPRISES, INC. and continued to be the exclusive Philippine distributor of CANON Cameras. The nationwide-dealer network of Super East Asia Enterprises continued to grow as the years go by. This year, CameraHaus signed up as a dealer of the camera product lines.

Received Regional Top Distributor Award for achieving highest growth in SLR quantity for 1998/97.

Received Commemorative Award for achieving target total (G7) ave. repair / day / tech 5pcs. in 1998 result.

Received Ideas Award for excellent performance in the area of advertising and promotion 1998.

1999

Super East Asia Enterprises, Inc. was appointed as a distributor for Kodak digital and applied imaging products.

SEAEI was awarded the exclusive Philippine distributorship for Canon Digital Cameras.

2001
SEAEI was Cited for top performance of one single model BF 800 - achieved sales of more than 60,000 units.

SEAEI was appointed as a distributor for Kodak Professional Products.

2003
SEAEI was appointed as the Philippine distributor for Vivitar photographic products and accesories.

2004
SEAEI was appointed as the Philippine distributor for Pentax photographic products, IPC image processing carrier (InegCarrier) industrial mini-lab equipment, Slik and Daiwa tripods and accessories.

2005
